After writing this yesterday, I considered not posting it. It seems way over the top. The reason I decided to go ahead with it, is because every part of this scenario has already been written and spoken by various MAGA people. Pay special attention to Peter Thiel, Curtis Yarvin, Mike Flynn and Russell Vought. Read what Kash Patel and Pete Hegseth have written. Look at Elon's tweets. If I wanted to, I could have sourced the entire thing with footnotes. America is still mostly asleep, and the only way to stop this is for people to wake up. I wish with all my heart we weren't where we are. And I'm not trying to depress people. But I have a duty to warn.
Scare me? Sorry, that boat already sailed a long time ago. But I do appreciate your summarizing and projecting a very possible future. Right now I keep asking people the same question: Even if every court and SCOTUS found for every case against the Trump administration, who would there be to enforce those findings without committing insurrection?
That's exactly the problem. Our rights, our laws and the functioning of our government are only protected by institutions and norms. Anyone willing to toss those out the window can make deep inroads. There are so many lessons we could have learned from history. The first and most important is that we should have recognized the plan back in 2015. I did. Why did people wait ten years to figure out what MAGA has been telling us it was going to do from the beginning? Why didn't anyone seem to care about Project 2025? It's rare when an enemy spells out their full battle plan (900 pages!) and people still refuse to take it seriously.
I don't relish scaring people. But I've listened to MAGA telling us their plans for years, and somehow Americans at large simply refused to believe them. Now it's getting real, as we watch our institutions crumble under the assault. I hope people wake up in time, and that there's a way to turn this around.

It should scare the shit out of you. The Democrats never did what was necessary when they had the poser to act. Arrest Trump on Jan 20. Stack the Supreme Court to balance it out. Arrest all the criminals in the GOP who aided and abetted the crimes. The list goes on. Hopefully the Generals will be a line in the sand. Trump is a criminal. Treat him as one.
